Everything Changed
A zombie virus has just broken out! And because of people's ignorance, this virus has gotten out of control. Parkour away from all different types of zombies in a completely changed world. Will you be able to run away? Or will you meet the fate of countless others?
This game was created for the My First Game Jam: Summer 2020 event. This game is a platformer and the goal of it is to avoid different types of zombies. The theme of this Jam was "change". I thought, "What's more changed then our own daily lives right now?" So a virus-themed game came to mind!
I used this experience to learn and experiment with coding, specifically enemy AIs (patrolling enemies on platforms, enemies that chased and avoided you, etc.). With the certain circumstances in this world, I also tried to give this game a message: stay safe and wear your masks. Any feedback is appreciated.

Loved the game! Its art style was fun and it was just the right amount of challenging! I actually though the game was about zombies until the very end lol

This is amazing, well done. Controls and camera movement is fluid and smooth, levels are well designed and art is beautiful. The story is my favourite part though, very, very clever.

(disclaimer: i swear this is mostly a joke please play the game he worked hard on it) the hitbox makes me want to physically throw up and die i TRANSCENDED from my own body the second i died from jumping roughly 14cm away from a zombie. the pain caused from this game, however, is not close to contracting covid-19. wear ur masks friends. thanks. also this is satire i enjoyed the game thanks jt :) also the music slaps--absolute banger in my opinion--and the backgrounds? *chefs kiss*. solid efforts but will not play again
